• Your driver guide will take you to the famous cathedral of Reims, one of the major achievements in medieval Europe, remarkable for its Gothic architecture and its statuary. Do not miss the famous Smiling Angel or the stained glass of the 13th century and those created by the famous artist Marc Chagall!
• Then discover the mysteries of Champagne with a visit to the cellars of one of the most prestigious producers of Champagne, followed by a tasting.
• At lunch time, our guides will be able to advise you and direct you to a large choice of restaurants.
• After lunch, your driver guide will take you through the vineyards to visit either the Museum of Champagne, or a cooperative with its wine press and tanks (open from Monday to Saturday), both of them with a Champagne tasting.
• On the way back to Paris, you will stop at the charming village of Hautvillers. It is here that the Benedictine monk Dom Perignon discovered in the 18th century the champagnization method of wine.
